About the Artworks

This grouping features highlights of American art from Joslyn Art Museum’s collection including works by Phillip Pearlstein, Albert Bierstadt and Tom Wesselman. Joslyn Art Museum will boldly re-open in 2024 with the 42,000 square-foot Rhonda and Howard Hawks Pavilion. During construction Art Bridges partnered with Joslyn to travel important works from their collection to four museums. This partnership ensures these works will remain out of storage and provides access for communities across the US to engage with these artworks.
