Art Bridges Fellows Program

Our Fellows Program is dedicated to developing inclusive museum leadership with a national group of emerging arts professionals and mentors.

The program began as a three-year pilot to establish career pathways for historically underrepresented groups in the arts and to offer new models for fellowship roles in museums. We launched the third year and the evaluation of the program in the fall of 2024, and therefore we are not placing fellows at new locations. Check back here for updates on the program or subscribe to our newsletter.

Partners hire fellows to work at their museums for three-year appointments. Each position is connected to substantial, multiyear Art Bridges programs—including major initiatives like the Cohort Program and Partner Loan Network—and depends on the capacity needs of our partner museums.

In addition to ongoing professional development, the Art Bridges Fellows travel to Bentonville for annual gatherings as well as a monthlong residency and orientation in their first year.
