Titus KapharAscension VI

In Untitled, Takako Yamaguchi combines abstract designs, bronze leaf, and Japanese visual motifs to create a dreamlike landscape, in which mountains and decorative screens meet. This juxtaposition connects the interior with the exterior and the geometric with the curvilinear. Defying easy categorization, this painting challenges how landscapes are interpreted beyond nature.
